December's Sole Crush of the Month is going to feature Alicia C. and her marvelous footwear. Her favorite store just so happens to be Anthropologie, a brand memorable for making gorgeously rustic and one-of-a-kind pieces art -- eh, I mean shoes.
So in honor of Friday's epic photoshoot, I've decided to feature a different Anthropologie shoe each day this week from the store's Fall/Winter collection. I am sure Alicia will approve :)
Without further ado, I present Anthropologie's Drapery Heels:
I'm going to be honest: I've always been rather ambivalent when it comes to booties, but after seeing this shoe I'm hooked. What's not to like about this bootie? It doesn't look like Anthropologie spared a penny in manufacturing these -- just look at that stitched border on the leather upper! So much detail! *swoon*
The contrast of the draped, antique-looking fabric with the gorgeous droopy bow and the warm milk-chocolate leather is nothing short of stunning -- but stunning in that alluring, understated way that defines many of Anthropologie's pieces.
