Alicia's Anthropologie Fixation: Wednesday's Fix

Today's Fix is going to be on the short side due to unfortunate circumstances that are out of my control: FINAL EXAMS. Gah. What an ugly time of year.

You know what's not ugly, though? Anthropologie's Blackwatch Slingbacks (by Bettye Muller) is what. The wool and cardinal-red bow definitely make this a wintry shoe. But probably an indoor wintry shoe if you live anywhere north of Mexico City.

I'm obsessed with the BOW!! Imagine getting to look down at their cozy little cuteness all day. So dainty! So feminine! So season-appropriate!

Despite my admiration for the shoe, I was still mighty surprised to see its price: $249.95 (on sale from $348). Like...what? Kind of excessive for a wool-upper pump, eh?
