Happy Post

On a happier note: remember the post where I told you about my sad black-pump-less state?

In case you don't, allow me to summarize:

Andrea did not own a black pump. Andrea sad. In quest for happiness, Andrea buy BEASST. (See below)

Ok, back to normal people syntax: I was SO excited for this shoe to ship! And then it did and I tried it on and...it didn't fit. Gah. Inconvenient, but not a tragedy since I live relatively close to (read: 2 hours away from) a Steve Madden store. So yesterday, I hauled my bootie (the body part, not the shoe) to the mall and tried the pump on a half-size bigger and...it didn't fit. I tried it on with insoles and...it still didn't fit.

Woe is me.

I was upset but ready to buy the ill-fitting pump anyways. Thankfully my mom intervened. (MOM SHOUTOUT). She reminded me that if you spend more than $20 on a shoe, it better fit and it better fit well.

So I bid BEASST a teary goodbye and began looking for a replacement.

Thankfully, I didn't have to look far. In fact, I didn't even have to leave the Steve Madden store.

Meet PAMMYY:
PAMMYY is black suede and obviously not a pump. Not a pump at all. But she fits the bill perfectly for what I was looking for:
  • a black shoe
  • a sexy black shoe
  • a sexy TALL black shoe
  • that is also comfortable
So in the end, I found what I was looking for, but not in the form I was expecting. And that, folks, is my philosophical contribution to your day :)

If you'd like to buy a pair of PAMMYYs, she comes in a gazillion other colors. Check her out here.

As soon as I get out of these flannel pijamas and into some real clothes I'll post some pictures of me + ma new shoes!

XOXO
