Here's a thought: rainy-day shoes with more class than these.
Luckily for us, there is a designer out there who specializes in recycled, sustainable, vegan (vegan?!) shoes...aka plastic shoes. Her name is Melissa and though her styles are hit or miss, the pretty ones are just doll.

The top style is a ballet flat Melissa designed for Jason Wu, and they are available at ASOS for $154.53. They're also sold in black.
The bottom shoe is a bit trickier to find. Vivienne Westwood and Melissa teamed up to design this Lady Dragon style, and they come in a gazillion different colors and with several different details on top of the toe box (in case you're not wild about the giant plastic heart). Many of the Lady Dragon styles can be found here. The cheapest styles go for about $60, with the more popular ones rounding up to about $200.
