As far as I'm concerned, everything is right with this shoe: it manages to have a significant platform without looking clunky, sports edgy colorblocking, and the a nice sling-back strap adds stability. The shoe costs $80 but it seems very well stitched and detailed with the little golden clasp at the strap.
I haven't had the opportunity to try these on (I'm actually not sure what retailers carry Jessica Simpson's shoe collection**) so I can't vouch for comfort, but I really really wish I could add these to my Christmas list. *sigh*
That's the crux of is my problem, though. I like to go for crazy looking, bright shoes and so I end up without footwear essentials like the nude heel and the black pump.

Just for kicks, here are the other colors in this style. I'm not a huge fan of the first two (the mustard-yellow of the second one particularly throws me off), but the black and nude patent one seems respectable.
