Lusting for Summer

After a short hiatus in the snowy northern provinces of the United States, I am back in California. And boy, does this pseudo-summery weather make me lust for Real Summer!

You know what I mean: long hot days, tiny bikinis, (frantically working out to fit into tiny bikinis), ice-cold diet coke, tan skin, beach hair, picnics, country songs, and open-toed shoes - so many open-toed shoes.

Can't you just see yourself going on a summery afternoon stroll with these lovely platforms on your feet and a tanned/muscled/sweet/intelligent man on your arm? *sigh* They definitely make me think of Grease, or Dirty Dancing with their adorable vintage flower-print and polka-dot combo.
