It all boils down to three things:
Legs
Boobs
Boobs
Derriere
The West idolizes a tall, slender, fit woman with a perky bosom. And heels, believe it or not, help us mortal girls achieve the illusion of being tall, slender, fit, and perky-bosomed. How?
Well, most obvious is the legs. Walking in heels adds inches to your height and also elongates your legs by creating the illusion that your pointed foot is an extension of your calf. Also, balancing on your tippy-toes engages your leg muscles, so your legs look firm and toned.
Next is the breasts. Wearing a pair of heels correctly can be as tantalizing as increasing a cup size. Heels throw your balance off and to compensate correctly, women should push their shoulders back and lift their chests a bit. Basically, heels help you flaunt what your momma gave ya.
Compensating incorrectly will make you look slouched, clomping, and ape-like. And your boobies will sag like this:
Last but not least is the derriere. If you've ever walked by a mirror while wearing heels, you'll have noticed that heels help your assets defy gravity. That's because you're having to flex all the muscles in your lower body (and even your abs) to balance properly on your precarious footwear.
And there you have it :) It always comes down to three things for us women: legs, breasts, and butt. Who knew one article of clothing could help you flaunt all three? Just another reason to love high heeled shoes!
