Cotton and Cork

I went shopping last week! Yay! The evidence: a springtime dress from Abercrombie & Fitch and funky wedge sandals from Lucky Brand. I know this is a shoe blog, but I'm going to show you the dress anyways, because it's awesome.

Check them out:

This is the Casey dress by A&F. It's part of their new Spring/Summer collection and it's wonderful. The picture really doesn't do it justice, but here it is anyways.

It's made with navy blue eyelet cotton fabric (also comes in white), and the strapless top is incredible because it has two wires sown into the side seams -- you can't feel them when the dress is on but it adds shape and stability to the top.

It cinches at the waist with a beautiful thick bow and then...it poofs out! Poofy skirts are my Achilles' heel. I put them on and I feel Cinderella.

I also got a pair of wedge sandals from Lucky Brand. I've never bought their shoes before (only their jeans) but these immediately caught my eye. Observe the Moran Wedge Sandal:

The color looks weird in the first shot -- in person, it's more like the bottom two. Anyways, the leather is so soft and yummy, and the straps wrap around my angle snugly too. As an added bonus, the cork is padded so they are light and comfy on my feet.

All in all, a good shopping day!

I'll try to post some real life pictures of me in the shoes soon :) Happy spring break!
